The Honorable Judge R. Alan Bates swears in our newest volunteers on July 11th, 2016.

We are grateful for their willingness to serve!

Janesville Kiwanis donates $1000.00 to sponsor a CASA child for one year.

This money will be used to cover the cost of recruiting, training and supervising a CASA volunteer who will serve as an advocate for a child who is currently in Child Protective Services.

The Morning Rotary Club of Janesville awards CASA of Rock County a $500.00 grant to help us recruit, train and supervise more volunteer advocates!

Noon Rotary Project Grant Awarded to CASA!

Janesville's Noon Rotary awards CASA a $500.00 project grant which will assist us purchasing a sign for Child Abuse Prevention month in April.  The sign will be used as part of our child abuse awareness display on the front lawn of the Rock County Courthouse.  

Beloit Junior Women's Club Grant

The Beloit Junior Women's Club awards CASA of Rock County $500.00!

April is Child Abuse Awareness Prevention Month

CASA along with BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) planted a pinwheel garden in front of the Rock County Courthouse to promote child abuse prevention in our community. 

Judge Bates swears in new CASA volunteers.

Five new CASA volunteers completed their training and were sworn in by Judge Bates as "friends of the court" on Monday, March 14th, 2016.

Thank you to our new volunteers, and thank you Judge Bates for supporting our mission to have volunteers advocate for the needs and wishes of abused and neglected children in Rock County.


Every year CASA volunteers are able to bring gifts to the foster children they advocate for because of the generous donations of WSJY 107.3 and Parker Community Credit Union. The children we advocate on behalf of, along with our volunteers, are extremely grateful for their generosity year after year!


New Volunteer Advocates Sworn In as "Friends of the Court"

On August 17, 2015,  the Honorable Judge Bates swore in two
new CASA volunteers who have just completed the 30 hours of training required to become a CASA volunteer.  

We are excited to be able to provide two new CASA volunteers who will advocate on behalf of victimized children in our foster care system.  

There are still over 60 children waiting to receive a CASA advocate. Please consider becoming a volunteer so every that every child who needs a CASA, receives a CASA!

choosing Family Services of S. WI & N. IL and CASA of Rock County 
as a recipient of the Community Advantage Program.

Rock County CASA was awarded $482.00 through the Community 
Advantage Program at Advia Community Credit Union.  The 
Community Advantage Program advances the lives of people in the community by allowing their members to earn points through the 
financial services they offer.  These points are then translated into
cash donations to their members' designated charities.

Family Services and CASA of Rock County as a recipient!

Six new CASA volunteers completed their training and were sworn in by Judge Bates as "friends of the court" on Monday, June 1st, 2015.

Thank You to the Janesville Morning Rotary Foundation!

Rock County CASA was awarded a $250.00 grant from Janesville Morning Rotary Foundation to help fund our work advocating for abused children in family court.

Thank You to the Diamond Center and Jewelers for Children!

Rock County CASA was awarded a $40,000 grant in the fall of 2014
to raise awareness about CASA in the community and increase the 
number of volunteers who advocate for the needs and wishes of 
abused children in court.

The Diamond Center in Janesville and Madison is one of the local
jewelers who have contributed to Jewelers for Children, making 
this grant possible.

These funds have allowed CASA to hire two outreach coordinators
for one year.  During this time, their focus will be on increasing community 
awareness and the number of volunteer advocates.


We wish to acknowledge and thank the Beloit Junior Woman's Club for their donation of $750.00 to support CASA!

Stateline Community Foundation awards CASA of Rock County with a $4000 donation.

We wish to thank the Stateline Community Foundation for their continual support of the CASA program.  We are very grateful that the foundation recognizes that our volunteers help to fulfill their mission of enhancing the quality of life citizens in the greater Beloit area.

Donations such as this make it possible for our staff and volunteers to be able to serve the needs of most vulnerable members of our community.

The CASA family is very excited to welcome our new volunteers to our family!  They each successfully completed 30 hours of training and were sworn in by the honorable Judge Bates on Monday, March 23rd.  

We have 9 new volunteers who will start their training on Monday, April 6th at 5:30 pm at the Rock County Courthouse! 

Court appointed advocates needed for neglected or abused children of Rock County

ROCK COUNTY -- Roy and Barbara Carter are the voice for children who need someone to speak on their behalf.

The Shopiere couple are volunteers for Court Appointed Special Advocates of Rock County, or CASA. The Carters serve as advocates for children who have been neglected or abused as their cases work their way through the court system.

CASA receives Ecolab grant!
January, 2015

Ecolab, whose headquarters are in St. Paul, MN believes it is important to support the communities in which they have facilities.  This year, they donated over $65,000 to numerous organizations in the Stateline area supporting children and families through social service projects, arts and education.

CASA of Rock County was fortunate to be one of those beneficiaries as Ecolab gave the money to purchase a new database, which will be used to track the children served and the volunteers who do the important advocacy work for them.
